Draws about 15 amps from a 230 V plug point, roughly one and a half kettles running non-stop. It needs its own properly rated circuit, not an extension lead.
Noise and heat
75 dB is about as loud as a vacuum cleaner, all day. It also gives off 3,400 W of heat, so it needs airflow and a room that stays below 35 °C.
Set up
Plug in the power cable, connect a network cable to your router, then enter your Kaspa pool details in its web page.
Good to know
Size 370 x 195 x 290 mm, about 15 kg. Whether it pays depends on your electricity price and the Kaspa price, so run the numbers on a mining calculator first.

Uses about the same power as a phone fast charger. Running it all month adds roughly 18 kWh to your bill. The 12 V adaptor in the box works on normal South African mains.
Noise and heat
About as quiet as a library, so it is fine in a bedroom or office. It stays warm but does not heat a room.
Set up
Plug it in, join its WiFi setup page from your phone, choose your home WiFi and enter your pool or wallet details. Setup takes a few minutes.
Good to know
It uses 2.4 GHz WiFi, so it will not connect to a 5 GHz-only network. At 1 TH/s it is a low-cost way to learn and try for a solo Bitcoin block, not a source of steady income. Size 109 x 99 x 45 mm, 0.4 kg.

Questions we get asked

Do I need anything else to run a miner?

You need a proper power point, a network connection and a mining pool account. The IceRiver KS5L draws 3,400 W, so it needs a circuit rated for that load and shouldn't share a lead with other appliances.

Which miners need a network cable?

The IceRiver KS5L and Bitmain Z9 connect by network cable, and we can add a 20 m Cat6 cable for R200. The Lucky Miner LV07 connects over 2.4 GHz WiFi and needs no cable.

Is delivery really free?

Yes. Delivery anywhere in South Africa is included in every price on this page.

How can I pay?
